We are thrilled to share the wonderful news about our esteemed alumna, Grace Lau, who has been honoured in the "Ten Outstanding Young Persons Selection 2025" in Hong Kong.
Fuelled by a passion for sports from a young age, Grace devoted herself to the sport of karate ever since her graduation from LTFC in 2009. At the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, she became the first Hong Kong athlete to win an Olympic medal in karate. She is currently ranked World No.1 in Women’s Kata following her numerous wins in international competitions.
Grace is the third alumni to be awarded the title in the span of 9 years. Alumnus Kwok Ho Ting was presented with the title in 2017 for his achievements in track cycling, and alumnus Cheung Ka Long was honoured with the title in 2022 for his accomplishments in fencing. We are immensely proud of our alumni’s fruitful endeavours and contributions to their respective disciplines.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Grace Lau once again!
