Visit of students from Singapore’s North Vista Secondary School to LTFC

We were very lucky to have the students from Singapore‘s North Vista Secondary School to visit our teachers and students on the 10th November, 2015.

At the beginning of the visit, our Principal, Mr. Raymond Wong, welcomed all the students. Then, Dr. Lee Ching May, our Assistant Principal, introduced our school and our school-based curriculum to the students in the Lecture Theatre. After the introductory session, they were invited to attend PE and Art lessons with our students. Our PE teachers and instructors from the South China Athletic Association taught them basketball and track and field skills in the PE lesson.  Our Art teachers introduced the colour scheme theory and held an art activity using iPads to let our students and Singapore students interact with each other. Our students were happy to be the host of their counterparts. During lunchtime, twenty S5 LTFC ambassadors joined the North Vista students to have lunch. All of them shared their school life in an enthusiastic manner and have made friends with each other.

It was an impressive opportunity to exchange ideas with the Singapore students. The visit provided our students with invaluable opportunities to learn more about campus life in Singapore. In the future, our school will continue to seek to create connections with overseas institutions and provide opportunities for our students and teachers to learn more from our counterparts from different cultures.
