CSD Tour at Guangdong on Intangible Cultural Heritage and Heritage Preservation

Lam Tai Fai College is pleased to announce the successful completion of the S5 CSD Tour last week at Guangdong, which centred on the theme of intangible cultural heritage and heritage preservation. Students visited several revitalized heritage sites, including Qing Dynasty water-based folk residences, a national 3A-level tourist attraction. Beyond national treasures, students explored the historical influence of British and French cultures on Guangdong, with particular focus on neoclassical and Greco-Roman architecture. The tour further included visits to several sites introducing the stories and revolutionary feats of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, as well as Lingnan Impression Garden, a recreated cultural hub showcasing various aspects of traditional Chinese culture such as wine, Chinese drama, cinematic heritage, and much more. For a change of pace, they also enjoyed a hands-on blueberry farming and picking experience.
