Visiting M+: The Making of Dreams Guided Tour for S2 VA Enhancement Class

On 24 October 2025, our S2 Visual Arts Enhancement class visited M+ for a special tour and workshop titled ‘The Making of Dreams'. The event aimed to reveal diverse living cultures and social issues while inspiring our students' imagination for the future.

The guided tour used M+'s design and architecture collections as a window to explore visions of an ideal human life. Students examined how designers from around the world blend familiar materials with innovative technology and experiment with imaginative production processes. With the guidance of an inspiring docent, they explored the stories behind various designers and learned how their work reflects profound cultural shifts. Through this, they discovered the real-world impact of design on people's lives and communities.

This experience broadened the students' horizons and significantly deepened their knowledge of contemporary visual culture.
