Empowering Student Innovation at InnoGala 2025

Our school recently participated in the Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council (DSSSC) InnoGala 2025, highlighting our commitment to innovation and technology (I&T) education. This event offered our students a fantastic opportunity to broaden their learning experiences while serving as enthusiastic helpers.

At the InnoGala, students explored various exhibits to enhance their understanding of STEAM projects. Our school proudly set up a booth to showcase our achievements in I&T education, with our IT ambassadors actively promoting our projects to visitors.

Among the featured projects was the Language Across Curriculum (LaC) Project, which integrates the subjects of I&T, English Language, and Science. One of such projects, “Innovate for Animals,” illustrated how subjects can be combined through a STEAM approach. Students utilized their knowledge in Science and I&T to develop solutions for real-world issues related to animals and the environment. This project aimed to enhance their observation, design, thinking, and communication skills, exemplifying our dedication to providing a holistic education.

The InnoGala provided a wonderful platform for our students to showcase their hard work and connect with peers from over 40 schools and various technology partners. We are proud of their achievements and remain dedicated to advancing our I&T initiatives, ensuring that our students are well-prepared to tackle future challenges in a rapidly changing world.
