Illuminating Minds: Lantern Riddle Guessing Activity

The Mid-Autumn Festival, known for its full moon and mooncakes, is also a time for lanterns and riddles. This year, our school organised a lantern riddle guessing activity for our students at the Chinese Culture Centre.

The event kicked off with an introduction to the significance of lanterns and riddles during the festival. Teachers explained how lantern riddles are a fun way to challenge one’s wit while celebrating the season. Students were excited to participate, with many eager to show off their riddle-solving skills.

Each lantern displayed a unique riddle, ranging from fun and playful to more challenging puzzles. Students formed teams, eagerly gathering around the lanterns to decipher the clues. The air buzzed with laughter and friendly competition as teams collaborated to solve each riddle.

The lantern riddle activity was not only a test of intellect but also a wonderful opportunity for teamwork and communication. Students learned to work together, sharing ideas and strategies to crack the riddles. This collaboration fostered friendships and strengthened bonds among classmates, as they celebrated both their successes and challenges.
