Alumnus CHEUNG Ka Long made history in Tokyo Olympics
Cheered by all citizens in Hong Kong, Ka Long was throned the gold medalist on 26 July, being the second Hong Kong Olympic winner.
In view of COVID-19, athletes are experiencing insurmountable pressure while competing against their counterparts. With perseverance, Ka Long beat his competitor 15:10 in semi final. While Hong Kong was applauding for this 24-year-old fencer, he pushed himself further to make himself the proud of Hong Kong. His persistence and diligence should definitely be admired and learned by Hong Kong student athletes.
