The 11th Swimming Gala

On 10th September 2014, the 11th Swimming Gala was held at Ma On Shan Swimming Pool. With fine weather in the morning, it was an enjoyable day for all students, teachers and spectators.

The opening ceremony commenced at 9:00 a.m., with flag-raising and an opening speech given by Mr. Alex Wong Chun Bong, the School Manager. He encouraged all swimmers to strive for their best performance and reminded all students to participate actively and support each other.

On this day, a number of individual events, as well as the inter-house and inter-class relay competitions were organized. In the Closing Ceremony, we were honored to have our special guests - Ms Sze Hang Yue, well-known Olympics swimmer of Hong Kong, delivered the speech and Prof. Wong Kam Fai, our School Manager, presented trophies to our students.

The Annual Swimming Gala provided a good opportunity for students to learn from competition and put what they have learnt in their PE lessons into practice in this swimming event.
