Vancouver Ecological Study Tour 2019 - A precious experience for students

Twenty students and two English teachers participated in Vancouver Ecological Study Tour organised by our school and Canada-China Culture and Education Association. They stayed in Vancouver for nine days during the exchange week and Easter holiday.

Their journey started on 11th April and ended on 19th April. This was the first time for them to visit Canada. All of them were so excited. They paid visits to various places in Vancouver such as Gastown, Granville Island and Lynn Ecology Centre. They learnt different things about Canadian cultures and the ecology system. They chatted with local people and found that they were very nice.

The highlight of the trip was the visit to Banff National Park and Lake Louise. The ginormous snow-capped mountains and mountain animals were definitely students’ favourites. It was amazing to play with snow on a frozen lake. Some students said that it was their first time to see snow.

They all could widen their horizons in and gain life experiences. It is hoped that a study tour will be organised again next year.
